Resume
I grew up on a ranch in Southeastern Montana. Our ranch was in a very rural community and I appreciated the
quiet country life with my many 4-H animals and the abundant wildlife. I live with my husband and we have three
children in the Broadus, MT area.
The mediums that I enjoy painting with, are transparent watercolors, and oils, in both large and miniature
paintings. These paintings are a large variety of subject matter, from rural western themes to still life and
portraits. Collecting antiques to use for still life subject matter is a favorite hobby, along with growing flowers.
My work has been in shows throughout the US and in miniature shows in London, England. My paintings have
been accepted in several juried international and national shows and have received several awards. I have
been asked to participate in several invitational shows and have participated in many Quick Draws. I have given
workshops in transparent watercolor.
Education
I am basically self-taught, but have taken workshops with: Tom Browning, Jan Kunz, Robert Duncan, Tony
Couch, Mike Capser, Jim Wilcox, Irving Shapiro, Judi Betts, Jessica Zemsky, Jack Hines, Robert Bateman and
others;
